Chemistry Technician

About the role

Certified Group is seeking a Chemistry Technician to join its laboratory team in Carrollton. You will support chemists by performing routine analytical testing on client samples and ensuring high‑quality data generation.

Key responsibilities

• Log and split incoming samples according to SOPs.
• Assist chemists with analyses using techniques such as HPLC, GC, LC‑MS, GC‑MS, ICP‑MS, ICP‑OES, UV‑Vis, FTIR, titration, and gravimetric methods.
• Prepare and manage analytical standards and maintain inventory of reagents.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on analytical instruments.
• Conduct daily balance, temperature, and pipette verifications.
• Document analytical and quality records for accreditation purposes.
• Generate accurate reports and flag results requiring further investigation.
• Participate in out‑of‑specification (OOS) investigations and corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA).
• Continuously learn new techniques and technologies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in chemistry preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong organizational skills for sample handling and record keeping.
