About the role
We are looking for a passionate Chef to lead the kitchen at La Tapa del Coco, a growing restaurant that celebrates Afro‑Panamanian cuisine. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dishes while maintaining the unique flavor profile that defines our brand.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory, stock rotation, and sanitation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with management on menu development and seasonal updates.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a professional kitchen.
- Valid health certificates.
- Intermediate English proficiency is a plus.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
