Certified Welding Inspector/NACE 1 (Part-Time)

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a part‑time Certified Welding Inspector to oversee quality assurance at fabrication facilities and conduct on‑site inspections during construction. The role requires strong knowledge of AWS codes and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with the Project Manager to define work order scope, schedule, deliverables and budget.
• Ensure services are performed in accordance with project requirements and client contracts.
• Generate and submit timesheets, billing reports and inspection reports using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Maintain positive relationships between Bureau Veritas, the fabrication facility and the client.

Required profile

• Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society).
• Significant experience with AWS welding codes and similar inspection positions.
• Ability to read and interpret complex design and fabrication plans.

Required skills

• Certified Welding Inspector (AWS).
• NDT Level II (optional).
• AMPP/NACE Level II (optional).
• Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.
• Adobe Acrobat.
• Lotus Notes.
