About the role
The University of Miami Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in the Sylvester Stem Cell Transplant Unit on a per‑diem basis. This part‑time position offers flexible scheduling across weekdays, evenings, and occasional on‑calls or weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene care, including bedpans, showers, and grooming.
- Assist with meals, ambulation, positioning, and hydration.
- Administer non‑sterile dressings, enemas, therapeutic baths, and restraints as needed.
- Collect specimens, perform urine testing, and handle post‑mortem care.
- Respond promptly to call lights, record vital signs, intake/output, and report patient conditions to the assigned nurse.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.
- Valid State of Florida CNA license.
