Certified Medical Assistant / Patient Care Assistant (Part‑Time)

About the role

Revere Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Patient Care Assistant to join its Heber City clinic on a part‑time basis. The role supports providers in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care while maintaining a professional office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate quality patient care under provider supervision.
• Interview patients, record medical histories, verify visit purpose and reconcile medication lists.
• Prepare patients for examinations by performing preliminary physical tests and vital sign measurements.
• Secure and maintain confidential patient records, including diagnostic and procedure coding.
• Assist with office procedures such as injections, specimen collection, and triage of phone messages.
• Communicate test results, schedule referrals, submit prescriptions, and coordinate prior authorizations with insurers and pharmacies.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, manage inventory, and ensure equipment is operational.

Required profile

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current certification.
• Professional image and strong communication skills in all interactions.
• Ability to multitask while providing excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Prior experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Required skills

• Medical coding (diagnostic and procedure codes).
• Electronic health record documentation.
• Knowledge of insurance prior‑authorization processes.
