Cellar Person – Brewery Production Role

About the role

The Cellar Person works under the Cellar Supervisor at Four Peaks Brewery, supporting all cellar and brewhouse operations to ensure high‑quality beverage production. This full‑time, onsite position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced brewing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily fermentation vessel CIP and analytical sampling with accurate record keeping.
• Monitor fermentation, handle yeast and hop dumps, and add cold‑side ingredients.
• Assist with brew‑day preparation, dry hopping, and finished‑beer transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, piping, tank exteriors, and draft lines.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift safely while adhering to PPE and chemical handling procedures.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Ability to lift 50 lb, push 200 lb, and work in hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• Flexibility to work required shifts, Monday‑Friday 7 AM‑3 PM.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Scissor‑lift operation.
• Clean‑in‑Place (CIP) procedures.
• Analytical sampling and data recording.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Safe handling of caustic and acidic chemicals.
