About the role

Applied Materials seeks a specialist to lead SAP and MES initiatives that drive manufacturing efficiency, logistics coordination, and digital transformation across its semiconductor facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business process expert for SAP and MES manufacturing operations, overseeing deployment, testing, and operational readiness.
• Define and maintain business process requirements, master data governance, and system standards for manufacturing and logistics.
• Lead SmartFactory MES implementation, supporting WIP management, quality control, traceability, and production reporting.
• Drive data‑collection automation to replace manual entry and improve process visibility.
• Support daily logistics, warehouse management, inventory control, and material movement, improving accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate physical inventory activities, cycle counting, and reconciliation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations, logistics or supply‑chain processes.
• 2+ years hands‑on experience with SAP manufacturing and logistics modules (PP, MM, WM/EWM, IM).
• Experience implementing or supporting MES in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across Operations, Engineering, Quality and IT.
