About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Des Moines, IA Service Center. Drivers pull van or double trailers between service centers or turn‑point locations and return home daily, earning $.74 per mile.

Key responsibilities

• Operate van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers on linehaul routes.
• Transport freight between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Return home each day after completing assignments.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military transition).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Preferred: experience with doubles/triples, tanker, haz‑mat endorsements, or LTL freight.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Double‑trailer operation.
