CDL‑A Truck Driver Linehaul

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers to pull van and double trailers between service centers while returning home each night. Drivers enjoy a competitive salary up to $95,000 per year, daily home time, and vacation after 90 days.

Key responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Return home daily, providing a stable work‑life balance.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of combined verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (MVR and PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specs for military transition).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Preferred: endorsements for doubles/triples, tanker, haz‑mat; experience hauling haz‑mat, pulling doubles, or any LTL freight.

Required skills

• CDL Class A license.
• Experience operating double trailers.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
