CDL‑A Truck Driver Linehaul

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Oxford, MA service center. Drivers will pull van trailers up to 53 feet or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each night. The position offers daily home time, paid time off after 90 days, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes between service centers.
• Maintain safe driving practices and adhere to all DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues.
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition criteria).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
