CDL‑A Truck Driver – Linehaul (Home Daily)

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Portland, OR service center. Drivers pull van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations and return home each day, with earnings up to $95,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Complete each linehaul run and return home daily.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of recent combined driving experience.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if FMCSA military‑to‑civilian specifications are met).
• Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift, and stoop safely.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A qualification.
• Haz‑mat endorsement or experience hauling hazardous materials.
• Experience operating double/triple trailers.
• LTL freight handling experience.
