CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery Driver – Reno, NV

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a full‑time CDL‑A City Pickup & Delivery driver for its Reno, NV service center. Drivers operate local routes, return to the terminal each day and enjoy being home every night.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city delivery and pickup of freight with multiple stops per shift.
• Use scanning equipment to track shipments and interact directly with customers.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable experience within the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the last three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop safely.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• Electric pallet jack operation.
• Scanning equipment operation.
