CDL‑A City Delivery Driver – Canton, MA

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking a CDL‑A City Delivery and Pickup driver for its Canton, MA service center. This full‑time position offers a $37.94 hourly rate, regular Monday‑Friday shifts and the opportunity to return home each night.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city deliveries and pickups of freight, returning to the terminal daily.
• Make multiple stops per day, operate scanning equipment, and interact directly with customers.
• Complete lift‑gate deliveries using an electric pallet jack when required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least one year of verifiable experience within the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past three years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition qualification).
• Pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Ability to bend, lift and stoop safely.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Electric pallet jack operation.
• Scanning equipment usage.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
