CDL A City Pickup & Delivery Driver – Odessa, TX

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking CDL A City Pickup & Delivery (P&D) drivers for its Odessa, TX service center. This full‑time position offers a starting pay of $35.86 per hour, Monday‑Friday shifts, and the benefit of being home every night. Drivers handle local freight deliveries and pickups, returning to the terminal daily.

Key responsibilities

• Perform city delivery and pickup of freight with multiple stops each day.
• Use scanning equipment to track shipments and interact directly with customers.
• Complete liftgate deliveries when required, operating an electric pallet jack.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA transition criteria).
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical capability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
