Category Developer – On‑Premise (Diageo)

About the role

As a Diageo‑dedicated Category Developer, you’ll be the sales and brand expert for an exciting portfolio of spirits within the On‑Premise market. You’ll build strong relationships with key accounts, grow brand presence, and bring the portfolio to life in bars, restaurants, and other influential venues.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales, distribution, share and velocity across assigned on‑premise accounts.
• Serve as the go‑to portfolio expert and trusted partner for customers.
• Identify and secure optimal brand placements, activations and events.
• Educate customers and account teams on brands, trends and opportunities.
• Conduct market research, present new products and deliver monthly business reviews.
• Collaborate with on‑premise and retail sales teams to develop creative growth solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of sales or industry experience, with deep category knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and presentation software.
