Case Manager – Survivor Advocacy (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Case Manager provides survivor‑centered advocacy and case management to individuals experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault in rural community settings. The role blends in‑person and phone support, using a trauma‑informed, culturally responsive approach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake, needs assessments, safety planning, and develop client‑driven action plans.
• Provide court advocacy, assist with protective orders, and attend court with clients as needed.
• Document all client interactions within 24 hours and maintain accurate case records.
• Offer child‑care during groups, therapy sessions, and court appointments to facilitate client participation.
• Integrate financial empowerment education into case management.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for the Hospital Advocate Response Team (HART) and support outreach events, including evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Preferred Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field with two years of human‑services experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as program needs dictate.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and self‑direction skills with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks.
