Carpenter – High-End Residential Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to deliver high‑quality workmanship on high‑end residential projects in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role involves interpreting blueprints, cutting and installing structural components, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and sketches to plan layouts and determine material dimensions.
• Cut, shape, and install materials such as windows, frames, trim, flooring, and hardware using hand tools and power equipment.
• Measure and mark cutting lines, verify structural alignment with plumb bobs, levels, and lasers.
• Build, repair, or replace cabinets, doors, frameworks, and other wooden fixtures.
• Assemble frameworks and props, fasten with nails, screws, dowels, or glue, and protect work in progress.

Required profile

• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and high dependability.
• Ability to work safely in noisy, outdoor construction environments.
• Effective communication in English.

Required skills

• Blueprint reading and layout planning.
• Operation of power saws and power sanders.
• Use of laser levels, spirit levels, and combination squares.
• Proficiency with ladders, scaffolding, and hand carpentry tools.
