Cariste – Opérateur de chariot élévateur

About the role

Paramount Pallet is seeking a motivated Cariste to load and unload trailer pallets, move wood pallets within the plant, and support efficient production. The role involves operating a forklift in a physically demanding environment while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Unload pallet and wood deliveries and transport them to the appropriate location inside the factory.
• Transfer freshly cut or recycled wood to the designated work area.
• Stack finished products onto trailers or storage areas to a safe height.
• Maintain a safe work environment by lifting, stacking, and moving materials while considering the safety of all plant personnel.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cariste (forklift operator).
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly recommended.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Availability to work overtime when needed.
