Caregiver – Senior Resident Support

About the role

Brookdale is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide direct, respectful care to senior residents in its communities. You will help residents maintain independence while ensuring their safety and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support household tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive, dignified care.
• Recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and treat each resident with respect.
• Complete any required state‑mandated training or certification.

Required profile

• Strong desire to improve the lives of seniors and work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with resident care and housekeeping.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain certifications such as CNA/STNA or QMAP when required.
