Capital Markets Lead

About the role

Hyperbolic Labs is building an Open‑Access AI Cloud and needs a senior finance professional to design and execute the capital‑raising strategy that funds its compute supply. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and the CEO, you will create the financing architecture for an emerging asset class and lead the first debt facilities from inception to close.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure, and negotiate debt capital across bank revolvers, private credit, non‑bank facilities, SPV and project‑style financings.
• Develop lender and investor relationship maps, manage end‑to‑end raise processes, and lead covenant, lien, and borrowing‑base negotiations.
• Integrate financing terms with vendor down‑payment needs and capacity commitments, ensuring contracts are financeable.
• Support concurrent equity rounds while preventing conflicts between debt and equity tracks.
• Oversee post‑close lender reporting, compliance, and ongoing relationship management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in capital markets, corporate development, or institutional fundraising; 10+ years preferred.
• Proven track record raising institutional capital from LPs, hedge funds, private equity, or venture capital firms.
• Strong analytical ability to model compute asset economics, cash flows, and depreciation curves.
• Excellent communication skills to present financing cases to credit committees and senior leadership.
