Capital Governance Expert

About the role

The Capital Governance Expert leads capital portfolio performance, project governance and execution support across assigned factories. This role ensures capital investments align with business priorities, master plans and Nestlé engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own capital portfolio visibility and governance, supporting annual and long‑range capital plans.
• Drive stage‑gate and EFCA compliance, ensuring project charters, financial justifications and risk assessments meet standards.
• Partner with Factory Engineering Managers on concept development, feasibility studies, design reviews and change management.
• Monitor project cash flow, estimate‑at‑completion and capital spending, escalating risks to Finance.
• Promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance for all capital projects, including GMPs and environmental standards.
• Support procurement and contractor management, ensuring qualification and engineering procurement standards.
• Enable digital, automation and productivity technologies by collaborating with E&A and MES teams.
• Provide CAPEX coaching, leadership and training to develop engineering capability across factories.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, Industrial or equivalent); PMP, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, with proven leadership of capital projects and cross‑functional collaboration.
