Campus Custodian – Cleaning Staff

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking custodians to maintain clean and safe environments across its campus facilities, including classrooms, auditoriums, residence halls, and dining areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, resident halls, dining areas, and common areas.
• Dust, mop, sweep, and maintain floor surfaces.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are met for campus events, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the facilities team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work the shift from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm with rotating weekends and flexible coverage for events.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Six months of experience in general cleaning of office or campus facilities preferred.
