Call Center Agent

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Call Center Agent to be the first point of contact for patrons of the Braumart Theatre. You will handle inbound calls and emails, provide information about events, and support ticket transactions, ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls and email enquiries regarding ticket sales, event details and general queries.
• Provide accurate information on concerts, tribute shows and community events.
• Process ticket bookings, exchanges and refunds using the theatre’s ticketing system.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints with empathy, aiming for positive outcomes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of schedules, promotions and policies.
• Record all interactions and transactions accurately in the database.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless patron experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a call centre or customer‑facing role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional telephone manner.
• Strong listening, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for the arts, theatre or live entertainment is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with CRM or ticketing software.
