Cafeteria Worker – Full-Time Shift

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate opening for a Cafeteria Worker at its Wilmington, OH Service Center cafeteria. The position is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and involves preparing and serving meals while upholding strict sanitation and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and distribute food supply orders, lifting cases up to 40 lb.
• Prepare and serve meals, including grill, fryer, and pizza preparation.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment and the cash register.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, dishes, tables, and equipment.
• Stock stations with breads, food items, beverages, condiments, and disposable supplies.
• Perform cafeteria janitorial tasks and assist with deliveries.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 40 lb and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Prior food‑service or kitchen experience (preferred).
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of commercial kitchen equipment (grill, fryer, pizza oven).
• Cash register handling.
