Buy‑Sell Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail‑oriented supply chain professional to manage day‑to‑day execution of critical semiconductor and memory components for HPE Networking sustaining products. The role focuses on procurement execution, supplier management, inventory operations, and material availability.

Key responsibilities

• Convert demand and supply plans into purchase orders and manage the full PO lifecycle, including creation, expedites, reschedules, cancellations and closures.
• Maintain accurate supplier Commit Request Dates (CRDs) and delivery schedules in ERP systems, and drive supplier follow‑up to improve on‑time delivery.
• Manage component allocations, identify shortages, and coordinate corrective actions across suppliers, distributors, manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor inventory health across multiple hubs, optimize stock levels, and ensure continuity of supply for production.
• Track supplier performance, open order status, lead times and escalation of supply issues to resolve shortages and delays.
• Develop and maintain supply execution dashboards, analyze open orders, inventory positions and provide regular operational updates to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in procurement, materials management, component planning or supply chain operations.
• Strong experience managing purchase orders, supplier commitments and delivery schedules in a semiconductor or electronic component environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, complex formulas and Power Query.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder management abilities.
