Business Performance Improvement Intern 2027

About the role

Protiviti is hiring a Business Performance Improvement Intern for its Dallas office in 2027. Interns work with clients, typically among the world's leading companies, in the areas of finance, operations, people and change, collaborating with the team to deliver client-focused solutions to complex business problems. The internship offers a preview of Foundations, Protiviti's entry-level full-time career path.

Key responsibilities

• Work in one of four areas: Finance Performance Management, Financial Reporting Remediation & Compliance, People & Change, or Supply Chain & Operations
• Receive hands-on training and project assignments from Talent Managers, with support from a network of advisors
• Take part in Liftoff, the onboarding experience, and The Intern Challenge, an experiential learning course
• Join committees, employee network groups and social, civic and networking activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain or other business majors)
• Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship
• U.S. visa status: authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Experience solving problems with AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI)

Required skills

• Advanced verbal and written communication
• Critical thinking and ability to apply innovation to client engagements across industries
• Foundations in accounting and finance processes, documenting findings and sharing recommendations
• Entry-level knowledge of organizational operations processes
