Business Optimization Consultant – Supply Planning

About the role

The Business Optimization Consultant – Supply Planning will shape the future of supply planning by turning strategy into practical process, data, and technology improvements. This role connects planners with leaders, translates complex priorities into clear milestones, and drives measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and maintain the future‑state vision and capability roadmap for Supply Planning.
• Translate business priorities and planner pain points into prioritized initiatives and detailed workstreams.
• Lead cross‑functional initiative planning, execution, testing, implementation, and post‑launch review.
• Serve as the communication bridge between planners and functional leaders, explaining changes and success metrics.
• Define and maintain standard methodologies, SOPs, governance, scorecards, and business continuity plans.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred with at least 5 + years of progressive experience in supply chain, supply planning, or manufacturing.
• Proven success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives from definition through adoption.
• Strong facilitation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with ability to influence without authority.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Agile or other continuous‑improvement methods is desired.
