Business Operations Manager (French Speaking)

About the role

Whatnot is scaling its live‑shopping marketplace across Europe and North America. The Business Operations Manager (French Speaking) will partner directly with senior leadership to drive growth, improve margins, and ensure international markets operate efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional initiatives that expand Whatnot’s presence in France, Germany, the UK and Canada.
• Define and own key performance metrics for buyer and seller funnels, marketing spend, and margin dynamics in each market.
• Provide rigorous analysis for marketing investment decisions, pricing strategy and growth levers.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and data teams to embed international requirements into scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain tooling that offers a single source of truth for progress tracking, resource allocation and blockers.
• Partner with finance and data partners to assess margin health and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, data‑driven operations projects in a fast‑growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to solve unstructured problems.
• Fluent French and English, with experience launching products in French‑speaking markets.
• Comfort working remotely with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
