Business Management V – Strategic Leader

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Business Management V leader to provide strategic direction across multiple customers and regions, shape product roadmaps, and drive alignment between sales and business units in the semiconductor and advanced display markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provides strategic direction and owns execution for multiple customers and regions.
• Shapes product roadmaps and priorities, aligning sales and business units.
• Develops and presents technical and high‑level presentations to customers and drives product positioning.
• Manages financial targets, gross margin and operating expense for the region.
• Leads cross‑functional projects, mentors junior colleagues and coordinates support organizations to meet customer requirements.

• Recognized as a subject‑matter expert with broad expertise in leading‑edge technologies.
• Influences internal and external business or regulatory issues.
• Leads multidisciplinary teams and provides thought leadership.
• Proactively solves complex problems using innovative methods.
• Negotiates with senior management, customers, regulators or vendors.
