Business Intelligence Consultant – SharePoint

About the role

The Business Intelligence Consultant – SharePoint will join Infosys’ Financial Services unit, supporting digital transformation projects for banks, wealth managers and insurers. You will work on designing, developing and maintaining BI solutions that leverage SharePoint, Power BI, SQL Server and Tableau to deliver actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for SharePoint‑based BI applications.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories and apply changes to the codebase.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth adoption.
• Participate in production support, troubleshoot issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Technology Consultant 2 role within a large IT services environment.
