Business Insights & Analytics Intern

About the role

Lilly is seeking a Business Insights & Analytics Intern to support brand and functional teams across the United States. You will gain exposure to Lilly’s data sources, marketing tactics, and analytics processes while delivering data‑driven insights that help improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of brand strategies, market dynamics, and internal data sources.
• Implement analytic solutions that answer critical business questions and align with organizational strategy.
• Partner with the Business Insights & Analytics team to share learnings and elevate analytics practices.
• Ensure compliance with privacy and contractual obligations when handling data.

Required profile

• Full‑time undergraduate student, rising senior (Junior) expected to graduate between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one analytical coding language (R, SAS, Python, etc.).
• Experience with AI tools or generative AI platforms.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and working with prescription claims data.
• Ability to create reports or dashboards using Tableau, Power‑BI, or R‑Shiny.
• Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills and ability to query relational data.
