Business Development Representative

About the role

We are a globally leading software development services company seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with a technical background. No formal sales experience is required – we provide full training. This onsite position is based in our Philadelphia office, working closely with the sales team and the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting activities.
• Use cold calling, LinkedIn, email and other tools to identify and engage potential clients.
• Qualify leads and schedule meetings for account executives.
• Maintain a high volume of daily outreach activities.
• Collaborate with the team to align outbound efforts with inbound marketing strategies.
• Track and report all sales activities and results using our CRM system.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our services.

Required profile

• Technical understanding of software development, demonstrated through past experience or personal projects.
• Ability to use data for decision‑making.
• Fast learner, motivated to earn, and growth‑oriented.
• Outgoing, good with people, and able to think on your feet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Resilience and ability to handle rejection.
• Team player with strong time‑management and organizational skills.
