About the role
Upstay is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to be the first point of contact with potential property owners and investors. You will generate qualified meetings, nurture leads, and support the sales team in expanding our short‑term rental portfolio across the United States, Canada, and South America.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective property owners and investors.
- Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, LinkedIn, and SMS.
- Qualify prospects based on location, property type, and revenue potential.
- Book meetings for the sales team and maintain a high‑quality pipeline.
- Follow up consistently to nurture leads and keep CRM data up‑to‑date.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to refine targeting and messaging.
Required profile
- Strong spoken and written English suitable for North American customers.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or lead generation.
- Ability to handle objections, build rapport quickly, and work independently.
- Availability to work in North American time zones with reliable internet and a professional remote setup.
Required skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
