Business Customer Development Manager

About the role

Join DHL Supply Chain as a Business Customer Development Manager and help expand our market presence in the logistics and supply chain sector. You will work remotely from anywhere in the United States, driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and delivering tailored supply chain solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design customized supply chain solutions.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate business terms using standard contract templates.
• Utilize sales technology to manage customer relationships effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business development and sales experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain solutions (preferred).
