Broadcast Producer (Board Operator)

About the role

iHeartMedia Markets is hiring a Broadcast Producer (Board Operator) in Memphis, Tennessee. This seasonal, part-time, hourly position keeps the station's broadcasts running smoothly and sounding great, ensuring every show, ad and moment reaches the audience clearly. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing and compliance with FCC regulations
• Coordinate with talent, producers and traffic teams for smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate as needed
• Record, edit and load audio content for playback using automation systems
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
• Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without close supervision and to seek guidance on unforeseen problems

Required skills

• Familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems (e.g., NexGen, Adobe Audition)
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
