Brewery Maintenance Technician – Rotating Shifts

About the role

Join Anheuser‑Busch’s Jacksonville brewery as a Maintenance Technician. You will work on rotating shifts to keep high‑speed brewing equipment running reliably and support production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
• Maintain 480‑volt, 3‑phase machinery, troubleshoot and repair equipment, including gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and service PLC‑controlled equipment and variable‑speed drives.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals for major brewing assets such as decanters, yeast separators, and K‑filters.
• Use SAP to document corrective and preventive maintenance, issue parts, and record inspection data.
• Participate in work planning, process improvement projects, and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 3 years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience (or two‑year technical degree).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• Knowledge of process controls, instrumentation, calibration, and safety procedures (lock‑out/tag‑out, confined space).
• Ability to stand, bend, twist continuously and lift up to 50 lb; flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with a computerized maintenance management system.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting (ControlLogix, PLC5, Siemens PCS7).
• SAP CMMS for maintenance documentation.
• Mechanical maintenance including bearing, motor/gearbox, valve, and pump replacement.
• Hydraulic and pneumatic system service.
• Process instrumentation calibration and installation.
• Electrical schematic interpretation.
• Drive installation and parameterization (Siemens, Allen Bradley).
