Brazer/Builder – 2nd Shift (3 pm start)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Brazer/Builder to join our 2nd shift team at FHP Manufacturing in Fort Lauderdale. The role focuses on assembling and brazing copper components for geothermal and water‑source heat pumps, ensuring high‑quality, leak‑free connections.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precise brazing of copper and other metal parts using torch equipment, following work instructions, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Conduct visual and pressure inspections of brazed joints to verify integrity, alignment and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety and PPE requirements.
• Assist in training new or cross‑functional team members and support other departments as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow safety and quality procedures, and work overtime when required.
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).

Required skills

• Brazing with torch equipment.
• Visual and pressure inspection of metal joints.
• Reading schematics, engineering drawings and work instructions.
