Branch Operations Manager – Acton, MA

About the role

As a Branch Operations Manager you will ensure the Acton branch runs efficiently, securely and delivers an outstanding customer experience. You will lead risk‑control initiatives, support teller operations and foster team development within a technology‑driven financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to maintain efficiency and security.
• Manage risk controls, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise cash handling, vault and ATM custodianship, and conduct accurate cash counts.
• Maintain lobby flow, create a welcoming environment and engage customers through digital platforms.
• Provide coaching, feedback and support to tellers and other team members.
• Utilize data‑driven decisions to improve branch performance.
• Support nearby branches as business needs dictate.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of successful experience in branch banking or related operations, or equivalent Santander experience.
• At least 18 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 18 months of customer‑service experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
