Book Keeping Officer

About the role

Online River LLC is seeking a meticulous Book Keeping Officer to maintain accurate financial records and support our finance team. You will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping tasks, ensure compliance, and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and update financial records and statements.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Generate financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• Track inventory and supply expenses.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Track payroll data in Excel and safeguard confidential information.
• Reconcile vehicle‑sales schedules and perform fact‑checking of accounting data.
• Handle cash receipts, check cutting, and cross‑train with staff on other accounting functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of U.S. financial regulations and procedures.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (or comparable ERP accounting software).
• Microsoft Excel.
• General accounting software proficiency.
