Board Certified Rheumatologist – Outpatient Practice

About the role

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join its academic rheumatology division in the Texas Medical Center. The position focuses on outpatient care for musculoskeletal, autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, with occasional inpatient consultations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality outpatient rheumatology services to a diverse patient population.
• Participate in rotating inpatient rheumatology consultations.
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Engage in clinical research, trials, and academic collaborations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Houston Methodist.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Eligible for or holding a Texas medical license.
• Strong clinical and communication abilities.
