About the role

Ochsner Health in Lake Charles is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible neurosurgeon to join its full‑time practice. The physician will work within a collaborative department that performs both spine and cranial surgeries, leveraging advanced robotic and imaging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in neurosurgery, including spine and cranial procedures.
• Share call responsibilities with two other neurosurgeons and participate in departmental mentorship programs for new surgeons.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in neurosurgery.
• Willingness to engage in a high‑volume practice with a focus on spine surgery.

Required skills

• Experience with the Globus robotic system.
• Proficiency using the G‑arm imaging platform.
• Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
