About the role
The Biosurgery R&D Lifecycle Management Intern will support the product lifecycle management team for medical devices used in surgical procedures, gaining experience in laboratory testing, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation and evaluation of laboratory test methods to characterize device performance.
- Conduct experimental studies, analyze data, and document procedures and results per quality system requirements.
- Review and organize historical product and technical documentation for lifecycle activities.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross‑functional partners to identify process and documentation improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical stakeholders.
Required profile
- Completed at least freshman year of an accredited university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical, Chemical, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship.
Required skills
- Experience with laboratory environments and data analysis.
- Familiarity with statistical tools, Minitab, and Excel.
What we offer
- Hourly pay ranging from $23.50 to $52.50 based on program year, discipline, degree, and experience.
