Billing & Pricing Specialist

About the role

IKO Industries Ltd., a Canadian-owned manufacturer of roofing and building materials, is looking for a Billing & Pricing Specialist in Wilmington. The role works in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Supply Chain and Finance, to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of customer sales from various plants for North America Sales and client transactions for North America Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily invoicing using the appropriate price lists and customer-specific contracts or programs, and review invoices generated by the JDE ERP system before releasing them to customers.
• Apply price lists, customer promotional programs, special discounts and service-level agreements to orders, and handle price adjustments, promotions, sales and warranty credits based on approved requests.
• Resolve billing and pricing inquiries and coordinate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to ensure correct charges.
• Manage up-front pricing in the system by obtaining price lists and program details from Sales and Sales Support.
• Maintain customer and pricing databases, follow policies and procedures, suggest process improvements and help assess the performance of billing and pricing processes.
• Contribute to project implementations on an ongoing basis.

Required profile

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience; manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to multi-task and prioritize.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong communication with internal and external contacts.
• Up to 10% travel required.

Required skills

• Experience with JD Edwards/Oracle is an asset.
• Ability to learn and become proficient with the JDE ERP system and Microsoft Office.
