About the role

Join a fast‑growing New Jersey immigration law firm as a Junior Paralegal or Legal Assistant. You will support humanitarian immigration cases, work directly with clients, and help draft essential legal documents while developing your expertise in U.S. immigration law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and take client declarations for humanitarian cases (VAWA, T‑Visa, U‑Visa).
• Conduct legal research and gather case information.
• Learn and apply internal workflows and processes.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members on case preparation.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• At least 6 months experience handling humanitarian immigration cases.
• Experience taking client declarations and drafting legal documents.
• Basic knowledge of immigration forms, procedures, and case management.
• Strong written communication with attention to accuracy.

Required skills

• English‑Spanish bilingual ability.
• Familiarity with VAWA, T‑Visa, and U‑Visa processes.
