Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Beverage Supervisor directs all activities of the beverage department at the Toyota Music Factory restaurant in Irving. The role covers the overall operation and financial responsibility of the beverage outlet, with a focus on quality, service and profit through excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all activities of the beverage department and coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment according to restaurant and catering operations.
• Maintain the highest standards of beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits.
• Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for, and monitor inventory and pricing daily, especially when restaurant bar menus change.
• Coordinate beverage orders with the Purchasing Manager and develop the drink menu.
• Develop and run beverage training for the F&B team, including state and local beverage laws and regulations and proper customer service of alcohol products.
• Provide a safe and reliable environment for customers and employees, following safety policies and reporting incidents through the company's risk management system.

Required profile

• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• College degree preferred; Food & Beverage and/or restaurant experience preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, make quick and accurate decisions, and handle pressure professionally.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to delegate, and ability to read, speak and write English.
