Benefits Specialist – Americas

About the role

The Benefits Specialist for the Americas will serve as the primary point of contact for employee and HR Business Partner inquiries related to benefits across the United States and Canada. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Victor, NY and requires collaboration with multiple internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, customer‑focused benefit expertise to employees.
• Manage benefits email accounts and respond to inquiries about claims, plan changes, and eligibility.
• Oversee plan enrollment, eligibility, and qualifying life events, including Medicare and child support documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and streamline processes and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate new‑hire onboarding communications with HR Business Partners and vendors.
• Support the annual Open Enrollment process: prepare communications, schedule webinars, update the benefits portal, and assist employees.
• Partner with payroll and finance to administer benefit programs.
• Conduct audits of benefit premiums, employee status, and enrollment data to ensure integrity.
• Maintain benefit documents, regulatory notices, and microsites on internal platforms.
• Communicate ACA calculations and flag system issues.
• Track enrollment numbers, plan costs, and generate standardized reports.

Required profile

• Authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing and able to work onsite five days a week in Victor, NY.
• Experience administering employee benefits for U.S. and Canadian workforces.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
