Barbering Instructor

About the role

The Barbering Instructor will join Central Georgia Technical College’s Macon campus to deliver high‑quality barbering education to students. Working under general supervision, you will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain program standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach barbering courses in classroom, evening, and online formats.
• Prepare syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Evaluate student performance, maintain grade books, and generate required reports.
• Mentor adjunct faculty and support dual‑enrollment programs.
• Travel to other college sites as needed for teaching or program support.

Required profile

• Ability to teach all phases of the barbering curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
