Barback - Ameris Amphitheater

About the role

Ameris Amphitheater is hiring a Barback through Legends Global, a hospitality agency serving professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention clients. The Barback provides supplies and items to the bartender on request so that guest service in the concessions environment is exceptional.

Key responsibilities

• Stock bar items daily and fill the ice bins as needed
• Anticipate needs throughout the shift
• Assist in keeping all areas clean and organized
• Report on time and set up the work area as directed
• Follow the operating standards in the policy and procedure manual
• Ensure prompt, quality service is provided
• Perform other related duties as required

Required profile

• At least 18 years old
• Ability to interact with co-workers to meet service standards
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• Ability to read, speak and write English
• Ability to lift and move items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
• Sufficient mobility for constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling
• Willingness to work all Yankee Stadium events, including extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced bar, high-end club or restaurant
