Ballet Instructor - Upper Level & Pointe (Sundays & Mondays)

About the role

Elite Dance Academy is seeking an experienced ballet instructor to join its faculty with immediate teaching opportunities on Sundays and Mondays. The role focuses on working with middle‑ and high‑school dancers, delivering upper‑level ballet, pre‑pointe and pointe instruction while fostering confidence, happiness and strength.

Key responsibilities

• Teach upper‑level ballet, pre‑pointe and pointe with emphasis on technique, strength, artistry and safe progression.
• Create challenging, engaging and well‑structured classes.
• Build meaningful relationships with middle‑ and high‑school dancers.
• Foster a positive classroom culture that supports dancers while maintaining high standards.
• Prepare dancers for performances, evaluations and studio events.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to ensure consistent, exceptional training.

Required profile

• Strong ballet training and teaching experience.
• Experience teaching intermediate or advanced dancers.
• Knowledge of safe pre‑pointe and pointe progression.
• Ability to connect with teenagers while maintaining high expectations.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, professional and collaborative attitude.
• Passion for developing both strong dancers and strong young people.
