About the role

Elite Dance Academy, based in Broomfield, Colorado, seeks a passionate Ballet Teacher to lead upper‑level, pre‑pointe and pointe classes for middle and high school students during Summer 2026 and the 2026‑2027 season. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality ballet instruction while fostering confidence, artistry and injury‑prevention.

Key responsibilities

• Teach high‑quality ballet, pre‑pointe, and pointe classes emphasizing technique, strength, artistry and injury prevention.
• Create engaging, well‑structured classes that challenge and inspire dancers.
• Foster a positive, encouraging classroom culture where students feel seen, supported and motivated.
• Prepare students for performances, evaluations and studio events.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty to ensure consistency and excellence across programs.
• Serve as a positive role model embodying professionalism, accountability and integrity.

Required profile

• Strong ballet training and teaching experience, preferably with upper‑level dancers.
• Knowledge of multiple ballet methods and safe, effective pre‑pointe and pointe instruction.
• Ability to connect with students while maintaining high standards and expectations.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, prepared and team‑oriented.
• Passion for helping young people grow both as dancers and individuals.
